1). Check the title deeds

2). Check the extent or the size of the property, whether it is a site or a plot or an apartment or an agriculture or industrial land with the schedule of the property and the boundaries

3). Possession

4). Up to Date property tax payment

5). Up to date katha in the revenue records of the Municipality or town council or panchayat

6). Secure the property with proper boundaries

7). If the owner is not living in the property or using it, leaving it vacant will invite trouble, keep a regular watch
